Pain Management Psychologist New York (NYC), NY 10010 Contract 1 opening 10/5/2026 - 10/4/2027 1 opening $70.00 per hour (estimated) Apply Refer $3,180.00 rewards Overview Due 9/15/2026 Our client is looking for a Pain Management Psychologist to provide expert psychological care to Veterans experiencing chronic pain. This role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact by delivering evidence-based treatments and working closely with a multidisciplinary team to improve Veterans' quality of life. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for Veterans with chronic pain
  • Develop individualized treatment plans focused on pain, function, and quality of life
  • Provide evidence-based psychological interventions including CBT for Chronic Pain, ACT, motivational interviewing, biofeedback, mindfulness, and psychoeducation
  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy, family/caregiver counseling, and psychological assessment
  • Assess psychological, emotional, cognitive, and psychosocial factors affecting chronic pain
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary Pain Management team
  • Participate in pain team conferences, rounds, treatment planning, and specialty clinics
  • Document assessments, treatment, progress, goals, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
  • Provide telehealth services through approved platforms Schedule and Shift Details
