Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make an impact as a school-based Psychologist and Behavior Consultant in a supportive educational environment near Ogdensburg, NY. In this contract position, you'll work directly with students, teachers, and school staff to promote student growth, well-being, and achievement for the 2026/2027 school year. This role offers the chance to conduct both traditional psychological assessments and hands-on, in-classroom behavior consulting, including the creation of personalized plans for student success.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer comprehensive psychological evaluations, interpreting assessment results for effective intervention planning Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop/implement Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) Participate actively in IEP meetings; assist teams in designing and updating individualized education plans Consult with teachers and staff, providing practical guidance for academic, social-emotional, and behavioral challenges Help implement evidence-based strategies within both general education and special education classrooms Contribute to maintaining a safe school climate by supporting crisis intervention initiatives Use data-driven practices to monitor student progress and refine interventions

Qualifications:
