Position Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychological and neurobehavioral evaluations of inpatient rehabilitation patients. Assess mood, coping, adjustment, cognitive functioning, and behavioral concerns related to illness, injury, and recovery. Provide individual, family, supportive, and brief therapeutic interventions. Evaluate decision-making capacity, emotional functioning, and barriers to treatment participation. Develop behavioral and psychological recommendations that support rehabilitation goals and patient engagement. Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to optimize recovery outcomes. Provide consultation, education, and support to patients, families, and rehabilitation staff. Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation. Participate in program development, quality improvement initiatives, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
