School-Based Position Make a Difference Every Day Kid's Thrive Southern Columbus is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Therapist to join our team in a school-based setting . This is an opportunity to support children and adolescents where they learn, grow, and build meaningful relationships. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services while collaborating with students, families, school personnel, and the clinical team to promote positive emotional, behavioral, and social outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide individual and/or group therapy services to students in a school-based environment. Complete clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Monitor student progress and update treatment goals as needed. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation. Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and other professionals as appropriate. Support students in developing healthy coping skills, emotional regulation, communication, and behavioral strategies. Participate in treatment team meetings and case consultations. Respond appropriately to student needs and behavioral or emotional concerns. Maintain compliance with organizational policies, clinical standards, and applicable regulations. Establish positive, professional relationships with students and school personnel. Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field. Appropriate clinical licensure or eligibility based on applicable state requirements. Experience working with children, adolescents, or families preferred. School-based or community-based behavioral health experience is a plus. Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
