Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting junior high school students during a key developmental stage. This full-time, onsite position offers the chance to make a positive impact as a School Psychologist, covering a maternity leave. Starting as soon as possible and extending through November 1, 2026, you'll be a vital resource to students, faculty, and families.

Qualifications & Experience:

Active School Psychologist licensure for the state of Ohio (required) Demonstrated prior experience working in a school environment, collaborating with students and educational teams Strong knowledge of evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions for adolescents Excellent communication skills and cultural competence when supporting diverse populations Ability to contribute to a positive, inclusive school climate

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive psychological services to junior high school students, including assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings Support positive behavioral interventions and school-wide wellness initiatives Maintain thorough documentation and uphold strict confidentiality standards
