9624412-44094 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, providing crucial support to elementary students in a vibrant, in-person educational environment. This full-time position runs from ASAP through June 1, 2027, with a consistent MondayFriday schedule totaling 40 hours per week. You will play a pivotal role working with students in grades 1 to 4, supporting a diverse range of learning and behavioral needs.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Previous experience in a school setting preferred Demonstrated expertise in psychological and educational assessments Familiarity with supporting diverse student populations, including those with various disabilities Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Knowledge of IEP processes and special education requirements
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for elementary-aged students Evaluate and support students presenting with a variety of learning and behavioral needs Develop, interpret, and explain assessment reports and tailored recommendations Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and support providers to foster student success Provide direct counseling, consultation, and behavioral interventions as needed Track student progress and help develop appropriate academic and behavioral interventions Maintain detailed records to ensure compliance with all special education regulations Onsite interviews with the Director are conveniently available on specific dates, so your journey toward making a meaningful difference can start soon.
