Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting student success as a School Psychologist in a dynamic educational environment near Canby, OR. Key Qualifications:

Active Oregon School Psychologist license required Previous experience in K-12 school settings strongly preferred Solid understanding of special education processes and individualized education programs (IEPs) Demonstrated ability in counseling and providing social-emotional support to students Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills

Responsibilities:

Provide psychological evaluations and assessments to support student learning and development Deliver counseling services for students, offering both individual and group support as needed Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams to contribute expertise during IEP meetings Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to create positive, supportive learning environments Remain adaptable and solution-focused to address students' evolving needs Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in school psychology Assist in the development of behavioral intervention strategies and academic support plans

Position Details:
