Qualifications & Experience:

Current and valid Oregon Psychologist licensure is required. Experience working as a School Psychologist in K-12 settings, with a focus on elementary level strongly preferred. Ability to work effectively with children from a variety of backgrounds and with diverse learning needs. Strong skills in assessment, counseling, intervention planning, and collaboration with staff and families. Familiarity with state and federal special education requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive school psychological services to students at one elementary school and one high school campus. Conduct assessments and provide recommendations regarding students learning, behavior, and mental health needs. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing expert input and support. Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to develop and implement strategies that support student success. Offer crisis intervention and short-term counseling as needed. Maintain meticulous documentation and adhere to all policies, procedures, and legal mandates. This contract position begins as soon as possible and continues through June 16th, 2026.
