This contract position calls for a School Psychologist to work onsite, providing vital assessment and counseling services within an educational setting. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field Current and valid School Psychologist certification Experience working in school settings preferred Strong knowledge of assessment tools, IEP processes, and intervention strategies Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage diverse caseloads
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret test results for students Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development Provide individual and group counseling for students as needed Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student learning and wellbeing Design and implement behavior intervention plans and progress monitoring Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment
