School Psych | Portland, Oregon Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Portland, OR Job Details Contract 12 hours ago Qualifications School experience Practicing as a mental health professional Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract position is available for a School Psychologist in Portland, OR, supporting student well-being and academic success within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide counseling and interventions to support student mental health and learning Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to state and federal regulations regarding special education services
Qualifications:
Valid school psychologist certification or licensure for the state of Oregon Experience in school-based psychological services and assessments Strong knowledge of special education laws and procedures Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism
