9661781-97086 Job Description Make a meaningful impact supporting students near Happy Valley, OR as a School Psychologist through this engaging contract opportunity! Collaborate with educators and families to foster positive student outcomes in a role offering a part-time schedule of 21 hours per week (.5 FTE). This is an on-site position with a focus on counseling and traditional school psychology responsibilities. For now, all services are provided in person, but there may be opportunities for virtual participation (voco) in the future. Your expertise will be valued as you work directly within school communities to support student success. A valid Oregon School Psychologist license is required other certifications are not necessary for this role. Specific caseload details are on the way and will be shared as they become available.
Desired Qualifications:
Active and current Oregon School Psychologist license Experience in school settings providing psychological, consultative, and counseling services Strong collaborative skills with educators, families, and support staff Comfort engaging with diverse student populations Clear communication and timely documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and interpret results to guide educational planning Provide individual and group counseling to students as part of overall support Develop, implement, and monitor intervention strategies Participate in problem-solving and eligibility determination for special education Serve as a resource to staff and families regarding student needs This position offers the chance to make a real difference in students lives while maintaining a manageable, part-time schedule.
