9678496-97056 Job Description Empower growth and emotional well-being as a contract school psychologist supporting K-12 students near Scappoose, OR. This position presents a rewarding opportunity to contribute expertise in psychological assessment, intervention strategies, and collaboration with diverse teams of educators and families in an engaging educational environment.
Ideal candidates will have:
Current certification or licensure as a school psychologist Experience working within schools or with students aged Kindergarten through 12th grade Strong understanding of IEP process, special education law, and student assessment tools Proficiency in conducting evaluations, writing reports, and providing actionable recommendations Effective communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and parents Ability to collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student learning Adaptability and organizational skills to manage caseloads across varying grade levels Key responsibilities include: Administering and interpreting educational, psychological, and behavioral assessments Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborating with teachers and staff to implement best practices for intervention and crisis prevention Delivering counseling and intervention services to students, fostering their emotional and academic growth Providing consultation to school personnel and families regarding student needs and development Maintaining documentation and complying with all legal and ethical requirements In this role, your expertise will directly influence student outcomes, working alongside dedicated professionals.
