Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embark on a fulfilling school-based contract opportunity supporting students' social, emotional, and educational development as a School Psychologist. Multiple openings are available for the 2026-2027 academic year in a dynamic educational environment near Allentown, PA. Supervisors will thoughtfully match candidates with caseloads ranging from early childhood through K-12 in both public and private school settings. Experience meaningful work with flexible scheduling options; full-time and part-time availability is welcomed.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Fully licensed as a School Psychologist in Pennsylvania Previous experience within schools, supporting K-12 or early childhood populations is highly desirable Comfortable working onsite, providing school-based services (no remote or hybrid) Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention planning skills Collaborative attitude and excellent communication with students, families, and multidisciplinary staff
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to meet student needs Develop, monitor, and adjust intervention strategies and IEPs within school guidelines Participate in eligibility meetings and provide recommendations for services Deliver crisis response and counseling as needed Engage in data-informed decision-making, always advocating for students' best interests
Schedule & Assignment Details:
Assignments run from 26 August 2026 to 10 June 2027 Monday through Friday schedule; both FTE and part-time considered Caseload and school placement determined during interview for optimal fit This is an exclusive onsite role, ideal for professionals who enjoy being a visible and vital presence within schools.
