Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role supporting young learners as a Part-Time School Psychologist in an elementary setting. As a valued member of the educational team, you'll conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), perform initial evaluations, and handle re-evaluations to help students reach their fullest potential. You will work on a contract basis in a vibrant school community near Coraopolis, PA, collaborating closely with teachers, families, and fellow professionals.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain certification as a School Psychologist Experience working in schools, particularly at the elementary level, is strongly preferred Demonstrated skill in conducting FBAs, initial assessments, and re-evaluations Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Knowledgeable about evidence-based interventions and special education processes
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough FBAs, initial student evaluations, and re-evaluations for elementary-aged children Develop actionable recommendations for student supports and interventions Work directly with educators and families to interpret results and guide next steps Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to confidentiality standards Participate in IEP meetings as a key contributor to assessment and planning
