Key Qualifications:

Hold valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist. Demonstrated experience conducting psychological assessments in a K-12 educational setting. Strong grasp of multi-tiered systems of support and effective intervention strategies. Outstanding interpersonal abilities to consult with educators, families, and other stakeholders. Robust report-writing, documentation, and organizational skills. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.

Role Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological and academic evaluations for students to assess learning, behavioral, and emotional needs. Collaborate closely with teachers, administrative staff, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Provide direct and indirect support, crisis intervention, and recommendations for evidence-based interventions. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, contributing expertise in student support planning. Maintain thorough, compliant records and ensure timelines for evaluations and reporting are met. Serve as a knowledgeable resource on mental health, behavioral concerns, and consultation for staff and student services. This assignment is set on a convenient MondayFriday schedule, from 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., at 401 Rutgers Avenue in Swarthmore, PA.
