Job Description

Step into a pivotal role providing direct support in an educational setting as a full-time School Psychologist. This contract opportunity offers a chance to work closely with students, educators, and families to promote student success and wellbeing. Enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, working onsite from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM with a total of 35 hours each week. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 10, 2027, offering stability and room to make a meaningful impact. While preference is for a full-time commitment, part-time candidates will be considered. The position is based at a middle school and includes occasional participation in out-of-district (OOD) evaluations and overflow services.
Key Qualifications:
Active Pennsylvania certification/licensure as a School Psychologist is required Previous experience in a school setting is essential Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments Familiarity with urban school environments Comfort navigating diverse district and location needs Clear communication and organizational skills Reliable personal transportation Ability to complete all necessary Pennsylvania background clearances Willingness and ability to work fully onsite, as no remote or hybrid options are available Commitment to working assigned hours—schedule adjustments cannot be accommodated
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations, including those for out-of-district students as needed Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop intervention strategies Provide consultation and crisis intervention as part of a dynamic educational team Maintain thorough, accurate records and reports according to state and district standards This position provides a unique chance to build strong relationships and make a difference in the lives of students and staff onsite every day.
