Looking for 2 diagnostic days a month or a flex schedule of your choosing to complete evals. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Diagnostician to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations for individuals across the autism spectrum and neurodevelopmental disorders. Your expertise will help shape personalized treatment plans, support families, and contribute to evidence-based interventions that improve quality of life. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by utilizing your clinical skills in a collaborative, innovative environment committed to excellence in mental health services. Responsibilities Perform detailed clinical assessments and psychological testing to diagnose autism spectrum disorders and related neurodevelopmental conditions. Conduct mental health diagnostics, individual psychological assessments, and behavioral health evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment planning tailored to each client's unique needs, utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and other proven interventions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, including social workers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and medical professionals. Provide telehealth therapy sessions, in-person evaluations, and crisis intervention services while adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines. Maintain accurate medical records, document patient progress, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards such as HIPAA. Support families through counseling sessions focused on child development, family dynamics, and autism spectrum disorders support strategies. Skills Extensive experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders and neurodevelopmental disorders. Strong background in mental health assessments, psychological testing, and diagnostic evaluation processes. Proficiency in evidence-based practice methods including behavioral health interventions and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Skilled in crisis intervention techniques and trauma-related disorder management such as PTSD care. Experience working with children, adolescents, geriatrics, and diverse populations in inpatient or outpatient settings. Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and delivering mental health services remotely. Knowledge of medical records management, patient assessment procedures, HIPAA compliance, and clinical ethical guidelines. Supervising experience or leadership skills preferred for team collaboration or mentorship roles. Strong client communication skills with a focus on empathetic engagement during intake sessions and ongoing treatment planning.
