Several of our clinicians have successfully made this transition in as little as three months. Compensation and Support While our fee split is not the highest in the area, it is also not the lowest. Who We Are Founded in 2007, Wynns Family Psychology is a specialty child, adolescent, and family practice dedicated to providing exceptional therapy, psychological assessment, and forensic services throughout North Carolina.
Our mission is simple:
To provide the highest quality care while helping children, teens, adults, and families thrive. We believe meaningful change happens through compassionate relationships, evidence-based care, collaboration, and meeting clients exactly where they are- even when progress comes in baby steps. In addition to traditional outpatient services, WFP has developed a respected forensic practice providing services such as reunification therapy, supervised visitation, custody evaluations, parenting coordination, and other court-involved services. Our Culture We believe that exceptional client care begins with taking care of our team. At Wynns Family Psychology, our name reflects the values that have guided our practice since 2007. W - Whole Person We believe in caring for the whole person. We value balance, self-care, and supporting our clinicians in building fulfilling, sustainable careers. F - Friendships, Family, Fun, and Faith Friendships developed between our staff members are one of the best parts of our practice. These friendships start by joking with and encouraging each other in between clients, and grow to deepen and strengthen outside of the walls of WFP. We believe we are always treating and helping the whole family - even if our client is just one member of the family. Family is the core of who we serve. We also believe in making time to invest in strengthening our own families at home. We work hard, laugh often, and celebrate together. We understand the healing effects of humor and laughter in session, and also the stress relief it provides outside of session. Fun with each other outside of the office is part of what makes us a strong, united team! WFP was founded on a leap of faith and prayer. Dr. Wynns' faith and trust in God is at the core of everything she does and who she is. While not all clients or staff will be believers, Dr. Wynns believes in sharing God's love by welcoming ALL clients to WFP - regardless of race, culture, gender, or sexuality.
