Because of our strong reputation in the community, we have a consistent, high-volume referral stream and currently maintain a 12-week waitlist. We focus heavily on providing high-quality, comprehensive psychological evaluations. We believe that clinicians do their best work when they get to focus exclusively on clinical care. That is why we provide full administrative support—our dedicated scheduling coordinator handles all patient bookings, and our external billing team handles all insurance claims and Verifications of Benefits (VOBs). You never have to worry about marketing, finding clients, or chasing down payments. The Role We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) to join our team to conduct psychological evaluations. The ideal candidate will take on a target caseload of 3 completed evaluation cases per week. However, we have a higher volume for candidates who want to do more work. In-person testing would need to be conducted in the Asheville location on Mondays, Wednesdays, and/or Fridays. The candidate could also conduct psychotherapy. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive diagnostic intake interviews (can be done via telehealth). Administer standardized psychological tests and assessments in-person. Score and interpret test data. Write clear, comprehensive, and timely psychological evaluation reports. Conduct feedback sessions with patients and/or families to discuss results and recommendations (can be done via telehealth). Requirements Active, unrestricted license in the state of North Carolina as a Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA). Note for LPAs or provisionally licensed psychologists: Clinical supervision is provided by the practice owner. Strong proficiency in administering, scoring, and interpreting a wide range of psychological and neuropsychological instruments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and patient feedback. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet report deadlines.
