Forensic Psychologist Evaluator Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court - 3.1 Cleveland, OH Job Details Contract 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Psychological testing Report writing Writing skills Doctoral degree in life sciences Risk assessment Licensed Psychologist Credentials Full Job Description Forensic Psychologist Evaluator (Part-Time, As Needed) The Diagnostic Clinic at the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court in Cleveland, Ohio, provides mental health evaluations for competence to stand trial and transfer of jurisdiction hearings in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code. This opportunity is ideal for professionals seeking a part-time position with flexibility. Most related activities can be conducted offsite and there is no requirement to accept a minimum number of cases. Juveniles are evaluated in person, with day or early evening hours available for youth and parent/guardian contact. Courtroom presence, in the event of a subpoena, is daytime only. Ohio-licensed psychologists conduct in-person competency and transfer evaluations and produce detailed reports. Providers are independent contractors (1099 nonemployees). Evaluative reports consist of youth interview, parent/guardian interview, collateral interviews as needed, record review, psychological testing as required, report writing, and expert testimony if subpoenaed. Personnel support is available for scheduling, record gathering, and limited test administration. Office accommodations are secure and comfortable.
- License to practice psychology in the State of Ohio, in good standing
- Active professional liability insurance
- Experience in preparing detailed forensic reports and functioning as an expert witness
- Knowledge of competence to proceed, waiver to adult court, risk assessment, clinical diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Expertise with psychological testing
