Our practice was founded in response to the profound shortage of private practices intentionally centering the mental health needs of the BIPOC community. In today's climate, the feeling of "otherness" can be especially acute for people of color—particularly when navigating depression, anxiety, PTSD, racial trauma, relationship stress, and other life challenges. For many, this combination can make the world feel heavy and unbearably demanding. At RWCA, our mission is to promote healing, resilience, and emotional growth by offering a safe, affirming space where clients can develop the skills necessary to manage symptoms and thrive. Guided by our core values of Positivity, Joy, Hope, and Advocacy , we strive to ensure every client feels seen, supported, and empowered in their journey. Our practice offers psychotherapy services across multiple modalities and integrates coaching to enhance self-efficacy and help clients live with clarity, purpose, and confidence. RWCA currently has openings at our Marblehead location and in our virtual practice and is seeking highly skilled, motivated licensed mental health professionals (LCSWs, PhDs, PsyDs, LICSWs, LMFTs, or LMHCs). We welcome clinicians who thrive in a collaborative, high-support environment where innovation, shared learning, and community care are core to our work. We are primarily seeking clinicians with experience in racial trauma, LGBTQIA+ concerns, addictions, CBT, EMDR, DBT, and strong general therapy skills with a desire to grow in these areas. We are a staff-focused practice committed to professional development and sustainability. RWCA provides a rich array of supports, including customized caseloads, case consultation, peer supervision, and multiple pathways for professional growth. We are a growing practice within the Roots & Wings Collective , an integrated ecosystem of mental health, coaching, consulting, and community impact initiatives dedicated to helping individuals and communities heal, thrive, and elevate their lives. As we continue to expand, there will be increasing opportunities for professional development, leadership, and growth within the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychotherap (individual, couple, or group), developing and implementing treatment plans, maintaining accurate and timely documentation, and attending monthly staff meetings. Clinicians enjoy flexible scheduling with a minimum of 10 hours (10 appointments) per week. RWCA provides comprehensive administrative support, including credentialing, referrals, first-appointment scheduling, office maintenance and associated costs, and all billing and accounting services. RWCA is deeply committed to anti-racism and to providing culturally responsive care. Because our primary population consists of individuals of color, we intentionally hire clinicians whose identities, lived experiences, and values reflect and affirm the communities we serve. We seek professionals who are committed to equity, inclusion, and social justice. RWCA is an equal opportunity employer, and clinicians who represent the rich diversity of our client population are strongly encouraged to apply. Our practice is positioned for continued growth and innovation, making this an exciting time to join our team.
