Job Overview We're looking to add a licensed neuropsychologist to our growing team, with a particular need for someone experienced in assessing children and adolescents and in conducting autism spectrum evaluations. Schedule is highly flexible — part-time to full-time, built around the right candidate's availability.

$100,000-$200,000 per year (based on number of patients see and commensurate with experience).

Work Location:

This is a hybrid role. Patients must be seen and all testing performed on-site at our Fairfax office. Report writing can be done offsite, and feedback sessions with patients are generally conducted virtually, unless a patient requests an in-person session. About Us Ekdom Neuropsychology Group is an established neuropsychological assessment practice based in Fairfax, Virginia, serving families and adults throughout Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., and the surrounding Maryland communities for over 30 years. Our practice provides thoughtful, evidence-based neuropsychological evaluations — including ADHD testing, autism evaluations, learning disability and psychoeducational testing, memory and dementia evaluations, and school accommodation/IEE support — to clients ranging from young children through older adults. We are an approved Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) provider and work closely with physicians, schools, and families to help them understand cognitive, learning, and behavioral concerns and translate findings into practical next steps. The Opportunity This is a great fit for a clinician who enjoys the full arc of assessment work — from clinical interview through testing, scoring, interpretation, and feedback — and who is confident and skilled working with young clients and their families. What You'll Do Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations, with a primary focus on children and adolescents (adult evaluations also welcome) Conduct autism spectrum evaluations as a core part of the caseload, along with ADHD, learning disabilities, and other neurodevelopmental, cognitive, and emotional concerns Administer, score, and interpret standardized cognitive, academic, and behavioral measures (in-office) Write clear, well-organized evaluation reports with actionable recommendations (may be done remotely) Provide feedback sessions to families — typically conducted virtually, with in-person sessions available upon patient request — and, where appropriate, consult with schools, physicians, and other providers Collaborate with our team of neuropsychologists and support staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care What We're Looking For Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.

D.) in Clinical Psychology, School Psychology, or a closely related field, with specialized training in neuropsychology Current, active, unrestricted license to practice psychology in Virginia strongly preferred; will consider candidates nearing license completion Substantial, hands-on experience assessing children and adolescents is a priority for this role Experience conducting autism spectrum evaluations — this is a particular area of need for our practice Ability to also assess adults a plus, though pediatric/adolescent expertise is the primary focus Strong working knowledge of commonly used cognitive, achievement, and behavioral assessment batteries, including autism-specific measures (e.g., ADOS-2) Excellent report-writing and communication skills Comfort working independently as well as collaboratively within a small practice team A warm, patient-centered approach — our clients are often anxious about the evaluation process, and a steady, reassuring presence matters Openness to a flexible schedule — we can work with your availability

Compensation & Benefits Salary:
