This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your clinical expertise in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and behavioral health to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing both individual and group therapy across various settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, and telehealth platforms. Your work will support clients facing complex mental health challenges, developmental disabilities, trauma, and co-occurring disorders, ensuring they receive compassionate and effective care aligned with clinical ethical guidelines and HIPAA standards. Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to inform treatment planning. Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis tailored to individual client needs. Implement crisis management protocols and crisis intervention strategies to ensure client safety during acute episodes. Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions for children, youth, adults, and geriatrics with diverse backgrounds including developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorder. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate medical records, clinical documentation standards, and patient care best practices. Maintain accurate clinical documentation within EMR/EHR systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards. Engage in case management activities including patient assessment, treatment coordination, research participation, and data collection to support continuous quality improvement. Provide specialized services such as grief counseling, addiction counseling, gender issues counseling, pediatric care, or chronic pain counseling as needed. Support telehealth therapy initiatives by delivering remote services with professionalism and technical proficiency. Ensure compliance with all clinical ethical guidelines and ICD coding requirements during medical documentation and records management. Experience Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling or a related field from an accredited program. Valid licensure or certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent license required; additional certifications in trauma-focused therapy or behavior analysis preferred. Proven experience providing psychotherapy across multiple modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, or art/dance therapy. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with immigrants, children, adolescents, adults with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders Must speak either Haitian Creole, Spanish, Portuguese or Cape Verdean Creole Experience working in outpatient clinics, inpatient settings or telehealth environments with a focus on mental health assessments and treatment planning.
