Job Overview Oak & Stone Counseling is a growing private practice in Lafayette, LA seeking a therapist to join our team. Ideal for therapists who value autonomy, meaningful clinical work, and practicing within their areas of strength. 1099 Position Duties Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Provide individual therapy to adolescents and/or adults (children experience a plus) Conduct comprehensive intakes and develop individualized treatment plans Maintain timely, accurate, and ethical clinical documentation Utilize evidence-based interventions aligned with your theoretical orientation Manage a consistent caseload (part-time growing to full-time) Collaborate with referral sources and other providers as appropriate Uphold ethical standards and maintain licensure requirements Participate in occasional team consultation or case collaboration as needed Requirements Active Louisiana license as LPC or LCSW Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field Ability to practice independently within scope of licensure Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills Commitment to timely and accurate documentation Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain) Ability to maintain a consistent part-time caseload with growth toward full-time (10 hours minimum per week) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to ethical practice and professional development

Pay:

$50.00 - $60.00 per hour
