Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychological services to diverse populations, including children, and adolescents. Duties Conduct mental health assessments and psychological testing to diagnose conditions such as autism spectrum disorders, trauma-related disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, and other mental health issues Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral health interventions, and trauma-informed care Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions across various settings including hospitals, clinics, schools, and via telehealth platforms Perform crisis intervention to support clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies or trauma-related crises Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical staff, educators, and caregivers to coordinate comprehensive patient care Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines Conduct mental health diagnostics and client communication to ensure clarity of treatment goals and progress Requirements Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution; licensure or certification as required by state law Proven experience in clinical counseling with a focus on child & family counseling, addiction counseling, or trauma-related disorders Strong background in administering psychological testing and conducting individual psychological assessments Experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder, or trauma-related conditions like PTSD Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and providing mental health services remotely Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines for patient confidentiality and record keeping Supervising experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to mentor junior staff is a plus Excellent patient care skills with the ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments in inpatient or outpatient environments Join us if you're passionate about making a difference through evidence-based psychological practice!
