Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide expert psychological assessment, therapy, and support to diverse populations across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. Your expertise will help individuals of all ages navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve their personal goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through evidence-based practices and innovative treatment approaches. Duties Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and psychological testing, to determine individual needs and treatment plans Provide individual, group, and family counseling utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychotherapy, and behavioral health interventions Deliver crisis intervention services to support patients experiencing acute mental health episodes or trauma-related distress Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans that incorporate medical records, patient history, and clinical observations Supervise clinical staff and interns to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to HIPAA regulations for confidentiality and medical record management Facilitate inpatient and outpatient therapy sessions for diverse populations including children, geriatrics, individuals with disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD, addiction issues, and developmental challenges Conduct intake assessments and coordinate referrals for specialized services such as social work or psychiatric consultation Skills Proven experience in child & family counseling, working with children and adolescents in various settings such as schools or clinics Strong background in crisis intervention, PTSD care, addiction counseling, and working with individuals with autism or disabilities Skilled in administering psychological testing and diagnostic evaluations with accuracy and sensitivity Expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychotherapy techniques, group therapy facilitation, and behavioral health interventions Familiarity with telehealth platforms for remote patient care delivery and experience working within hospital or inpatient environments Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards for patient privacy and medical records management Excellent patient assessment skills combined with compassionate communication to foster trust and engagement Join us in transforming lives through innovative mental health services!
