Psychometrist Job Description Our growing private practice is seeking a dependable, professional, and detail-oriented Psychometrist to assist with psychological testing services under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. This position is ideal for someone seeking flexible work and hands-on experience in psychological assessment. Previous testing experience is welcomed but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities Administer psychological, educational, and behavioral assessments using standardized procedures. Score assessments and organize testing data accurately. Observe and document client behavior during testing sessions. Prepare, organize, and maintain testing materials and protocols. Assist clinicians with data organization and report preparation. Follow all testing instructions and procedures established by the supervising psychologist. Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with professional and ethical standards. Create a calm, structured, and professional testing environment. Communicate professionally with clients, families, clinical staff, and community partners. Travel to partner locations throughout Harnett County and Cumberland County to administer assessments as needed. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Services, or a closely related field. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Professional, dependable, and punctual. Ability to follow structured testing procedures precisely. Comfortable working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Willingness to complete required training and receive ongoing supervision. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while following the direction of the supervising psychologist. Must have flexible availability and be able to work morning, afternoon, and evening hours based on testing appointments and the needs of the practice. Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel to our partner locations in Harnett County and Cumberland County. Must successfully complete all required background checks and onboarding requirements. Preferred Qualifications Previous psychological testing, behavioral health, educational, or clinical experience. Familiarity with psychological, educational, or behavioral assessments. Experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with developmental, behavioral, or mental health needs.
