Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic opportunity supporting students across multiple campuses while being centrally based. This contract role is ideal for school psychologists who thrive in collaborative environments and value the flexibility to make a true difference. Working within a progressive district that prioritizes workloads over strict caseloads, you'll enjoy professional autonomy and support as you deliver crucial psychological services to students and staff. You'll primarily serve 2-3 schools while having a dedicated workspace at the central office. The district values innovation and recognizes the unique contributions of school psychologists, offering at least one remote workday per week and the potential to increase remote days for the ideal candidate.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Valid School Psychologist licensure in Texas (required) Demonstrated expertise in educational assessments, behavioral interventions, and student evaluations Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and administrators Ability to independently manage a workload across multiple campuses Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
Responsibilities:
Conduct student evaluations, including psychoeducational assessments and eligibility determinations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective educational plans Consult with teachers, parents, and staff regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Maintain clear, compliant documentation of all services provided Engage in ongoing professional development and district initiatives
