9634225-45246 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist making a difference for K-5th grade students. This position covers a leave from September 15th through November 2nd and offers full-time hours from 8am to 4pm. The role involves supporting two nearby elementary schoolseach just 2.5 days per weekfocusing on both assessment and behavioral support. Whether you prefer working on-site near Cincinnati, OH, or are looking for a virtual assignment, flexibility is built in. Responsibilities include conducting reevaluations (RETRs) and initial evaluations (IETRs), collaborating with school staff to provide expertise in student assessment, and offering targeted behavioral interventions as needed. Youll work closely with teachers and parents to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Ideal candidates will bring:
Valid credentials as a School Psychologist (state licensure required) Experience with K-5th grade populations Understanding of assessment tools and IEP processes Strong communication and collaboration skills Flexibility to work on-site or remotely
Key Duties:
Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and re-evaluations Participate in IEP and student support meetings Consult with educators and families regarding intervention plans Provide guidance on student behavior strategies Travel between two schools (just two miles apart) if working on-site On-site team members can take advantage of a comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage and matching 401k, to support their well-being and future.
