9657913-76210 Job Description A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist seeking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive educational environment. This position is based onsite with flexibility for a hybrid schedule, allowing for both in-person collaboration and remote work. The assignment runs from ASAP through May 28, 2027, making it ideal for professionals interested in both stability and engaging, varied work. Both part-time and full-time arrangements are possible.
Essential Qualifications:
Current Texas licensure as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP), or an Associate School Psychologist Valid Educator Credential with a School Psychology license issued by the appropriate board of examiners of psychologists Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting highly regarded Strong skills in psycho-educational assessment, counseling, and intervention Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Adaptable, organized, and able to thrive in a dynamic team environment
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to support student learning and wellness Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective interventions and educational plans Provide individual and group counseling services as needed Serve as a resource for crisis intervention, behavioral support, and consultation Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation in accordance with district and state standards Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP development, and professional learning communities
