This rewarding contract position offers flexibility for both full-time and part-time professionals, with a hybrid scheduling optionenjoy three days onsite complemented by two days of remote work each week. Your essential role will span from now through May 28, 2027, supporting students, educators, and families. Collaborate with a dedicated team, provide critical assessments, and contribute to programs that foster academic and personal growth.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Possess a valid State of Texas Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) credential, or an Associate School Psychologist certificate. School Psychologist license issued by the Texas Board of Examiners of Psychologists required. Previous experience in school-based psychological assessment, counseling, or intervention is highly valued. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. Commitment to ethical practices and maintaining student confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
Perform psychoeducational evaluations and provide recommendations for effective interventions. Offer consultative services to teachers and parents regarding individualized student plans. Facilitate crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support when needed. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary teams. Maintain thorough and confidential records in line with state and district protocols. Engage in staff training, professional development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
