Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract An exciting contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist in the Lakeville, MN area. This role offers the flexibility of either two part-time positions or one full-time position, allowing you to choose the best fit for your schedule. While in-person services are preferred, there is openness to a hybrid arrangement, making this an accessible and adaptable role for the right candidate. School level assignment (potentially high school, but not yet confirmed) will be clarified as more information becomes available in the coming week.
Key Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist license in Minnesota Experience with comprehensive psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention services in educational settings Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student success Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Flexibility and readiness for a dynamic work environment Prior school setting experience preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and educational assessments for students Develop, implement, and review individualized education plans (IEPs) Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and emotional wellbeing Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation as needed Maintain accurate and confidential records Participate in eligibility determination and data-based decision making Why Choose This Role?
