Opportunities include:
Serving a K-8th grade district, traveling between two locations to provide comprehensive psychological services for a dynamic range of students. Supporting an elementary school district with a primary focus on crisis management, participating actively in meetings, developing interventions, and guiding staff through best practices. Providing psychological expertise within a pre-K-12th grade environment, tailoring services to meet the unique developmental and emotional needs of diverse learners.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field. Current state certification/license as a School Psychologist. Experience in educational settings, with a strong understanding of consultation, assessment, and intervention best practices. Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, staff, administrators, and families. Adaptable mindset and enthusiasm for working with varied age groups and needs. Crisis management experience (for the elementary-focused role) preferred.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments. Develop and implement individualized educational and behavior plans. Participate in eligibility assessments, IEP meetings, and intervention planning. Provide consultation to faculty and families to support student achievement and wellbeing. Offer crisis intervention and social-emotional support when needed. Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services delivered.
