Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential support to students as a School Psychologist for a full-time backfill need. This vital role will place you in a collaborative academic environment, where you'll have the chance to directly impact student achievement and well-being through assessments and targeted interventions. The district is ready to welcome a dedicated professional to serve through the end of the school year, with an immediate start available. Enjoy a flexible hybrid schedule, with the option to work remotely 1-2 days each week. The position also welcomes applicants with a pending Delaware license—a unique chance for new license holders to gain valuable experience as they await final credentialing.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or closely related field Eligibility for (or possession of) a Delaware School Psychologist license (pending licensure will be considered) Experience with psychoeducational assessments, individual and group counseling, and consultation services in an academic setting Knowledge of IEP processes, federal and state special education regulations Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation abilities Ability to work effectively both on-site and remotely
Key Responsibilities:
