Job Description
Point North Psychological Services, PLLC is a growing private psychology practice on Long Island committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based, and compassionate mental health care. We are excited to hire our first therapist and are seeking a motivated clinician who is eager to grow alongside the practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly licensed or early-career therapist looking to build a meaningful caseload while gaining experience in a supportive private practice setting. Because this clinician will be the first therapist to join our team, we are looking for someone with strong leadership potential, initiative, and a collaborative mindset. As the practice continues to expand, there will be opportunities to assume a leadership role and help shape the future of our clinical team. Position Details W-2 employee position Fee-for-service compensation (compensation based on licensure and experience) Flexible scheduling Opportunity for professional growth and advancement 3 paid holidays Annual compensation toward continuing education (CE) credits Administrative support, referrals, and a collaborative practice environment Qualifications Current New York license as an LMHC/LCSW or psychologist. Strong clinical judgment and excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a growing team Interest in helping shape the culture and growth of a new practice Comfortable with EHR.
