Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits for School Psychologists passionate about making a difference in the lives of students ages 3 through 21! This contract role, available immediately and extending through June 2027, is based just outside Providence, RI, and offers both part-time and full-time scheduling options, with a preference for full-time availability. Your work will directly shape student success, foster positive school environments, and support families and school teams as a vital member of a multidisciplinary staff.
Preferred candidates bring:
A Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program A current Rhode Island School Psychologist certification (RIDE 5403) Experience collaborating with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers Strong skills in assessment, counseling, crisis support, and consultation within a school setting A dedication to supporting students from diverse backgrounds with varying needs In this role, youll: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and psychoeducational assessments Provide expertise during IEP development and eligibility determinations Offer counseling, behavioral interventions, and crisis support as needed Consult with faculty, staff, and families on intervention planning and progress monitoring Collect and analyze data to inform service delivery Adapt to the specific requirements of each school or program assignment Full-time preferred, but part-time consideredgiving you flexibility in your schedule.
