Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of students by providing essential school psychologist services for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity is located near Warwick, RI, with roles available immediately through June 2027. Positions offer flexibility with both full-time and part-time options, though full-time availability is preferred. You'll support students ranging from ages 3 to 21 and collaborate with dedicated educators, families, and support staff to foster an inclusive, positive learning environment.
Key Qualifications:
Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution Current Rhode Island School Psychologist certification (RIDE 5403) Previous experience working as a school psychologist in K-12 settings Strong skills in conducting evaluations, assessments, and counseling Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and evaluations Support the development of IEPs, determine student eligibility, and assist with intervention planning Provide individual and group counseling, as well as behavioral and crisis interventions as needed Consult with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to create effective support strategies for students Monitor student progress, collect and interpret data, and document findings in adherence to compliance standards Offer consultation services and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes across assigned schools or programs Youll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact while working within a supportive environment committed to student growth.
