Job Description

Make an immediate impact supporting students and educators as a contracted School Psychologist serving the elementary and middle grades in a vibrant community near Warwick, RI. This full-time opportunity allows you to use your expertise in assessment, consultation, and counseling to help students thrive both academically and emotionally. Youll collaborate with dedicated faculty and families to create and implement effective interventions that foster student success and well-being.
Requirements for this opportunity:
Valid Rhode Island School Psychologist certification Experience working with elementary and middle school-age children Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families Excellent organizational and communication abilities Commitment to supporting inclusive and equitable educational environments In this role, you will: Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments to identify student needs Develop, implement, and monitor intervention strategies and behavior plans Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development Provide individual and group counseling to address social-emotional and behavioral concerns Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success Assist in crisis intervention and prevention initiatives Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements When you join, you can look forward to: An engaging weekday schedule, 37.5 hours per week (Monday through Friday) Highly competitive and reliable weekly compensation Peace of mind with comprehensive health coverage: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and more A matching 401k plan to help secure your financial future Access to a flexible spending account to support your health and wellness needs If youre eager to make a difference and bring your experience to a dynamic school community, apply now and explore how your skills can empower students, families, and staff all school year long!
