Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, providing essential support to students, families, and staff during a maternity leave coverage from October through January. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid certification or state license as a School Psychologist Previous experience in an educational setting strongly preferred Proficient in conducting evaluations, interpreting data, and supporting diverse student needs Familiar with the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitivity to student and family needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to eligibility decisions Provide direct services including counseling, behavioral interventions, and crisis support as needed Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design and implement effective interventions Offer consultation and professional development to staff regarding student behavior, mental health, and learning differences Maintain detailed and compliant documentation for all services provided This contract assignment offers you the chance to make a meaningful impact during a crucial period for both students and school staff.
