This contract position offers the chance to make a real impact while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote student achievement. Work with a diverse caseload of varying ages, providing essential psychological services to foster academic, emotional, and social success.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Active and valid South Carolina license as a School Psychologist (required) Previous experience working with children or adolescents preferred Strong understanding of assessment tools, mental health support, and IEP process Excellent communication, consultation, and documentation skills Collaborative approach with educators, families, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for K-12 students Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with the educational team Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral consultation as needed Offer recommendations and strategies for academic and behavioral interventions Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, contributing professional insights to promote student well-being Maintain thorough records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
