9672343-29709 Job Description Make a meaningful impact by providing essential support and guidance to students across K-12 grade levels. A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist with an active South Carolina license. You'll serve varying age groups, addressing the diverse needs of students at a location near Chesterfield, SC. The assignment begins immediately and extends through the full academic year until May 21, 2027.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active School Psychologist license issued by the state of South Carolina Prior experience working in school settings supporting K-12 students Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, staff, and families Expertise in assessment, counseling, and intervention strategies for a diverse student population Ability to adapt to various environments and age groups within the school system
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to identify students strengths and needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver counseling services and crisis intervention as needed Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to problem-solving processes Support a positive, inclusive learning environment and promote students academic, emotional, and social success Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements This role offers the chance to positively influence the educational journey of students in a supportive contract position.
