Qualifications & Experience:

Masters degree in school psychology required, along with two years of experience as a school psychologist intern (or equivalent education and experience) Current state certification as a School Psychologist Strong skills in conducting psychoeducational assessments and preparing comprehensive reports Proficiency in administering ability, achievement, personality, and behavioral evaluations Ability to coordinate crisis intervention, provide mental health counseling, and consult with school staff, families, and external agencies Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Adept at using computers and various office equipment Capacity to work independently and as part of multi-disciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students eligibility for special education services Provide individual and group counseling to address students mental health and behavioral needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote positive student outcomes and mental wellness Participate in IEP meetings, develop psychological assessment reports, and recommend strategies for academic and social performance Coordinate crisis management and intervention at both school and district levels Maintain accurate records, prepare necessary documentation for assessments and Medicaid reimbursement Engage in professional development and keep current with best practices and legal requirements This is an on-site, full-time opportunity (37.5 hours per week) designed for professionals who are passionate about supporting student success through psychological expertise.
