Qualifications:

Current South Carolina certification as a School Psychologist II or III is required Experience working with elementary-aged students is highly preferred Excellent assessment, intervention, and consultation skills Strong communication abilities for teamwork and parent/teacher engagement Commitment to a fully on-site presence (no virtual or hybrid options at this time) Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) is advantageous

Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations related to learning, social-emotional concerns, and behavior Offer counseling, crisis intervention, and recommendations that help each child thrive Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement effective interventions Consult with staff and families to develop strategies promoting student achievement Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of individualized education plans Serve as a resource on mental health, trauma-informed practices, and classroom accommodations
