Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Special Education Teacher working with PreK students, ages 3 and up, in a dynamic and supportive environment. This contract position calls for a dedicated individual ready to make a lasting impact in early childhood special education, fostering growth and development in young learners.

Key Qualifications:

Possession of an active South Carolina Special Education License with Early Childhood endorsements Experience or strong interest in teaching students with developmental delays, particularly in a PreK setting Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and best practices for differentiated instruction Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, staff, and specialists

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction to three-year-old students in a self-contained classroom Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each child's unique needs and goals Maintain positive, supportive relationships with students and families to nurture confidence and independence Partner with paraprofessionals and related service providers to ensure a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere Collect progress data and maintain detailed records to inform instructional planning and compliance

Additional Details:
