Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution Active certification or licensing as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain) Prior experience working within schools or youth-focused environments Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills Familiarity with IEP processes and multidisciplinary teamwork Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with students, families, and staff Ability to adapt to new settings and contribute positively to school culture
Responsibilities/Duties:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments Provide direct counseling and support services to students individually and in small groups Consult with educators, administrators, and families to promote a supportive learning environment Participate actively in the development and implementation of IEPs and related documentation Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create effective intervention strategies Assist in crisis intervention, behavioral planning, and risk assessments as needed Promote mental health awareness and preventative programming within the school community This contract position near Easley, SC offers a rewarding chance to foster student success and well-being while engaging with a supportive and dedicated faculty.
