Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract If you are a dedicated School Psychologist eager to make a positive impact in the educational community, this contract opportunity is tailored for you. Key Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in School Psychology required Minimum two years' experience as a school psychologist intern (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience) State certification as a School Psychologist is mandatory Proven ability to conduct thorough psychoeducational, cognitive, behavioral, and personality assessments Strong communication skills to convey evaluation results to parents, teachers, and teams Competency in crisis management, counseling, consultation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary professionals Computer proficiency for case management, documentation, and assessment scoring Ability to handle confidential student and family information with professionalism Capable of meeting moderate physical requirements and multitasking on varied office equipment
Responsibilities:
Administer comprehensive evaluations to assess special education eligibility Prepare detailed reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders Provide direct mental health support and counseling to individuals and groups Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to foster positive learning and behavioral outcomes Attend placement and IEP meetings, and coordinate crisis intervention efforts at school and district levels Maintain accurate and confidential records, participate in relevant professional development, and comply with all applicable laws and policies With full-time hours (37.5 per week) available from August 2026 to May 2027, support the success and well-being of students while engaging in meaningful collaboration across disciplines.
