9672343-29718 Job Description Step into a rewarding role supporting students from kindergarten through twelfth grade as a dedicated School Psychologist. This contract opportunity begins immediately and extends throughout the school year, culminating in May 2027. Youll work with a diverse caseload of varying ages, providing crucial psychological services and fostering positive educational experiences for children and adolescents. Your expertise will help students overcome challenges and thrive emotionally, socially, and academically. In this dynamic setting, youll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective strategies that make a true difference every day.
What youll need to succeed:
Active School Psychologist license issued by the state of South Carolina Strong assessment and counseling skills Experience working with K-12 populations Ability to partner with parents, teachers, and support staff Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Flexibility to adapt to different grade levels and unique student needs Key responsibilities: Conducting psychological and academic assessments for students across K-12 Developing and implementing individualized education and intervention plans Providing short-term counseling and crisis intervention Consulting with teachers and families around student needs and progress Maintaining thorough and confidential documentation Participating in multidisciplinary meetings to advocate for student success This position offers the chance to build meaningful relationships with students and educational professionals in a supportive environment.
