Job Description

Make an immediate impact as a School Psychologist in a high school setting situated near Charleston. This full-time, contract opportunity allows you to support students academic, behavioral, and social success while collaborating with passionate professionals. Youll be joining a vibrant educational environment, serving diverse learners as part of an experienced team. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through June 4, 2027, allowing for both immediate engagement and long-term planning with your students and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations for students, including cognitive, social-emotional, and academic assessments Interpret data to inform individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions Provide direct counseling and consultation services to students, families, and staff Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop tailored student support strategies Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations Promote positive mental health initiatives and crisis intervention as needed
Qualifications:
Valid South Carolina School Psychologist license (required) Previous experience in high school settings is preferred Strong collaborative skills to partner with educators, families, and support staff Exceptional communication and organizational abilities A commitment to supporting student well-being and academic achievement
