Key Qualifications:

Valid South Carolina School Psychologist License (required) Previous experience working in a high school setting preferred Strong communication, consultation, and collaboration skills Ability to conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop appropriate intervention strategies Proficiency in maintaining thorough documentation and adhering to state and district guidelines

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct and indirect psychological services to support students mental health and educational outcomes Conduct formal assessments, interpret results, and participate in eligibility and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop strategies that address students academic and behavioral needs Consult with educators and administrators on interventions, accommodations, and crisis response Support students through counseling and skill-building interventions, both individually and in small groups Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with regulatory requirements This full-time opportunity runs through June 2027, with a 37.5-hour work week aligned with the school calendar.
