Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a school psychologist in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time contract opportunity, spanning August 2026 through May 2027, allows you to work onsite supporting students, families, and educational teams with a comprehensive approach to psychoeducational and mental health needs. In this role, you'll: Conduct thorough psychoeducational evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services Administer, score, and document abilities, achievement, and psychological tests for individual students Communicate evaluation results clearly to parents, teachers, and relevant staff Observe student behavior and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop tailored strategies Deliver individual and group counseling, as well as consult on mental health and behavioral supports Participate in Student Assessment Teams, attend placement meetings, and support development of IEPs Lead or contribute to crisis management programs and interventions at both the school and district levels Work closely with teachers, administrators, parents, and external agencies to support student success Stay current with professional trends, legislation, and practices in school psychology Manage documentation, Medicaid reimbursement processes, and ongoing reporting requirements We're seeking candidates with: A master's degree in school psychology and at least two years' internship or related experience State certification as a School Psychologist Strong analytical, communication, and collaborative skills Comfort operating computers, standard office equipment, and occasionally transporting materials Ability to handle multiple priorities, maintain professionalism under deadlines, and adapt to diverse situations You'll thrive if you're dedicated to supporting student growth and have a passion for fostering positive behavioral and academic outcomes.
